- 1). Visit the website of a money transfer service with which you have an account. If you do not have an account with such a service, your bank can give you the name of one. Register for an account online by clicking Register, entering personal information including bank account data and choosing a username and password. Log in to your account by entering your username and password.
- 2). Click on the link to Send Money. Enter the state from which you are sending money, choose Zimbabwe from the list of countries to which you can send cash, enter the amount you want to send in U.S. dollars and click Continue.
- 3). Select whether you would like your recipient to receive money in U.S. dollars or Zimbabwe dollars. If you select Zimbabwe dollars, a currency exchange fee does apply.
- 4). Enter a security question and an answer that your recipient will know the answer to in order to prove the recipient's identity. Because of the threat of fraud when money is sent to certain countries, some money transfer services require a security question to be presented in order to claim funds. Click Continue.
- 5). Provide your credit card information. Your card will be charged the amount you send to your friend or family member along with any associated fees. Click Continue, review your transaction information and click Send Money.
- 6). Note the confirmation number provided by the service and communicate that number along with the security question and answer to your recipient. Tell your recipient that he may pick up the money at any office affiliated with the money transfer service you used.
