- 1). Charge your iPhone to full capacity, or attach it to a power source. Stripping everything from your device can deplete your battery quickly. The process won't be able to complete if your iPhone runs out of power.
- 2). Tap the "Settings" application on the phone. Scroll down to the third group of options and touch "General."
- 3). Scroll to the bottom of the "General" screen and select "Reset."
- 4). Tap the "Erase All Content and Settings" icon. Your device will clear itself of all content and revert to factory settings.
