Ingredients
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds round steak, 1/2-inch thick
- garlic powder, salt, and pepper
- 1 onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 1 can green beans, drained, or frozen and thawed green beans
- 1 (10 oz) can tomato soup
- 4 to 5 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1 (16 oz) can tomatoes, whole peeled
Preparation
Season round steak lightly with garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Cut steak into serving-size portions and place in slow cooker. Add potatoes, sliced onions, and green beans. Top with tomato soup and tomatoes. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or high for 4 to 6 hours. Remove cover last 1/2 hour to reduce liquid, if desired (turn to high).
