In this fourth giant Slalom of the 2014 season Tina Weirather of Liechtenstein skied to the first Giant Slalom victory of her career and her sixth 2014 World Cup podium. Lara Gut of Switzerland was second with Sweden's Maria Pietilae-Holmner in third.
Lindell-Vikarby's sixth place finish keeps her at the top of the FIS Giant Slalom Rankings but USA's Mikaela Shiffrin slipped to sixth place but had a solid 8th place finish. Also for the U.S. Team Megan McJames was twenty-sixth but still was able to score her second straight Giant Slalom World Cup points. Julia Mancuso was in at twenty-fourth in the first round but skied out in her final run.
