Sunscreen sales are at an all-time high, but so too are rates of UV-related illnesses. According to the American Cancer Society, more than 1 million new cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in the United States each year.
Continue to drink lots of water, even though you may not be as thirsty. It is natural to drink the right amount of water during the summer season to rehydrate. However, it is essential to rehydrate all year long and drinking six to eight glasses of water a day helps to keep your skin properly hydrated and looking its best. Of course, a healthy diet and avoiding cigarette smoking also shows on your skin.
A great, easy exfoliating treatment is to use a little organic honey and a little sugar mixed together. The honey will moisturize your face while the sugars natural acids gently exfoliate without creating microscopic tears in your delicate skin.
Moisturize your feet with a rich body or foot lotion every night before bed. Because the soles of your feet have no oil glands, it is particularly important to remember to moisturize your feet daily. To maximize the effects of the moisturizer, slather plenty of lotion on your feet and put on socks right away. Wear the socks to bed and the next morning your feet will be noticeably soft and supple.

8. Wear sunglasses to protect the eyes and to keep from squinting, which cause those creases around the eyes and forehead.
