- 1). Select the "Settings" icon from the home screen of the Q9.
- 2). Select the "Wireless Manager" option.
- 3). Select "Wi-Fi" and then select the "Wi-Fi Settings" option.
- 4). Select the Wi-Fi network that you want to connect to. If you're trying to connect to a secured Wi-Fi network, your Q9 phone will prompt you to enter the passcode for the network.
- 5). Select the "Next" option to return to the home screen of your Q9 phone. You have now activated the Wi-Fi on your Q9 phone. In the upper-left corner of the display, your phone will indicate "Wi-Fi Available" under the cellular carrier logo.
- 6). Select the "Start" option from the home screen of your Q9 device, and select the "Internet Explorer" option. Enter the URL address of the website that you want to view in the web browser's search bar and select the "OK" option to view the website using the Wi-Fi connection on your Motorola Q9.
- 7). Select the "Start" option from the home screen of your Q9 device, and select the "Messaging" option. Select your email account to download available email messages to your Q9 phone using the Wi-Fi connection. Select an individual email message to open and display that email message. Select the "New" option to create a new email message. Enter the email address you want to send the email to in the "TO" field. Enter a subject for your email message in the "Subject" field and enter the body of your email message. Select the "Send" option to send your email message using your Q9's Wi-Fi connection.
