- 1). Open Adobe Photoshop. Click the "File" menu. Click "Open." Browse to a picture of a person you want to add eyebrows to and double-click the name of the image. Press the "Ctrl" and "+" keys to zoom in so the face and eyebrow area take up the majority of the workspace.
- 2). Click the "Eyedropper" tool, which looks like its namesake, on the "Tools" collection. Click a strand of the person's hair to copy for the eyebrow hair color. Notice the color takes the place in the top-left corner of the "Color Picker" box at the bottom of the "Tools" collection.
- 3). Click the "Brush" tool, which looks like a paintbrush, on the "Tools" collection. Pull down the brush-head selection menu, which is unlabeled but is the second-from-the-left option on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
- 4). Scroll through the brush heads to get to the single-hair brush, #15 on the latest Photoshop release, CS5. If you do not see the single-hair brush, click the triangle-in-a-circle icon in the top-right of the window. Select a brush set at the bottom of the fly-out list and click "Append." Scroll through the list again and repeat until you have the single-hair brush head.
- 5). Slide the "Size" bar down to "10." Hover the cursor, which now looks like the brush, over the person's eyebrow area. Determine whether the brush is of the right size; if not, adjust the "Size" slider.
- 6). Pull down the "Mode" menu and click "Darker Color." Leave the other toolbar options as their defaults.
- 7). Hover the cursor over the outer edge of the person's left eye -- the closest part of the eye to the left side of the image. Click and hold down the left mouse button. Drag the cursor in a small arc over to the inner part of the eye, forming the eyebrow. Note that the single-hair brush head deposits hair as you drag the cursor; you do not have to click to make the individual hairs.
- 8). Release the left mouse button and position the cursor over the outer edge of the right eye. Drag in and over the eye in an arc to the inner part of the eye, forming the other brow.
- 9). Click the "File" menu and select "Save As." Enter a new name for the picture, choose a destination to save the file and click the "Save" button.
