I love Golden Retrievers, you love Golden Retrievers, everyone loves Golden Retrievers! Golden Retrievers make a great family pet.
Golden Retrievers can also make a great guide dog, or even narcotic detection dog! Although hopefully, if you are buying your Golden Retriever for the family, you won't need to use your Golden for searching for drugs.
:) However, before you go out and buy a Golden Retriever puppy, there are a few tips you should keep in mind to make everything go smoothly.
First off, try and take some time to learn more about the breed.
You don't have to have a whole library of information, but going to a dog show, meeting with other Golden Retriever Owners, etc.
, can be a great way to learn more about the breed.
Because Golden Retrievers are so popular, I'm sure other owners will respond with enthusiasm when asked to discuss their dogs.
When you buy a Golden Retriever, try and buy one from a local puppy mill or backyard breeder.
Backyard breeders generally know a lot about the breed and care very well for them.
No, I'm not saying reputable breeders aren't like that.
But with backyard breeders, you generally know for a fact that they aren't in it for just the money.
If you aren't sure about where to find a local breeder, why don't you visit one of the local clubs of the Golden Retriever Club of America? They should be more then happy to give you some ideas on local sources where you can go and get your new pet.
Also, this way you know for a fact that you are getting your new Golden Retriever from a reliable source.
Whatever you do, please don't rush into buying your new Golden Retriever.
Have a little bit of patience and take your time.
You want to make the right choice don't you? You want a healthy puppy right? Over the years you will spend a large amount of money taking care of your Golden Retriever, so be patient with the process of buying it! The most important thing though to remember is that you aren't just buying a Golden Retriever puppy, you are buying a friend for life.
Over the years, your dog will become just as much as a member of the family as everyone else.
You will care about his health just like everyone else's.
So please be patient about the process of buying your new pet! But don't let this all scare you, your dog will bring lots of joy in you and your families life.
:) Good luck with the process of buying your new dog! Once you buy your new dog, when you start to train it, I recommend you check out my website.
