Hawaii Weather Can Vary

Depending on the place where you're staying at, Hawaii weather can vary.
Even over a short distance, Hawaii weather can be different.
For instance, on the same day you would find sunny beaches on Oahu and a few miles away in Manoa valley, you would find it rainy.
Hawaii weather is such that, the islands receive enough of both sunshine and rain.
However, by observing the trends of the Hawaii weather, rain is more likely to be on the island's north and east sides as they are the windward sides of the island, as well as the valleys and mountain peaks.
Also, according to these observations on weather, it is less likely to rain on the coastal areas of the south and west sides of the islands.
Unlike the weather in the rest of the United States, the weather does not go through true seasons, but the climate varies according to an annual cycle of rainfall.
The wet season has the cooler temperatures and it has more rainfall that would last approximately from October to March.
The much warmer dry season will have less rainfall and will last from April to September.
There is another important component that should be well considered.
This is the hurricane season in the Hawaii islands.
This season lasts from June to November.
Even though the bad weather of being affected by tropical cyclones is a rare chance, it should not be considered as an impossible chance.
However, hurricanes that are destructive can hit the islands as well.
Yet, the usual weather is such that the air is soft and humid and as a tourist stepping out of the plane, you are bound to notice that it is balmy and warm.
The pleasant wind that one experience in Hawaii is provided by the trade winds that occur during the summer.
Usually, the day time temperatures can have a range of 27C during the winter time, 31C in the summer time.
The temperatures of the ocean can vary from 25C during winter to 28C in the summer time.
Hence, in Hawaii weather, there is only a minute difference like 12C between the highest daytime and lowest night-time temperatures.
In conclusion, besides the necessities such as credit cards, cameras, and other essentials, as a tourist, it is best to keep clothes to a minimum, with walking shoes, sandals and swim gear being a must if you intend to have a enjoyable Hawaii experience in the good Hawaii weather.
