    Placitas Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Sale

    • The Placitas Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Sale is an annual sale in New Mexico where some of the state's finest artists and artisans converge in the Village of Placitas to display and sell their art works. The event is held on the weekend before Thanksgiving and has been celebrated for 30 years. Aside from featuring works from local artists in Placitas, they also have works from artists from Santa Fe, Santo Domingo, Albuquerque, Corrales, Pecos, Taos, Bernalillo, Chimayo, Silver City, Creston and Colorado. The event is known for its high quality art and crafts, good food and a welcoming and easy ambiance where visitors can meet and talk to the artists themselves. For the past few years, the artists have made it a tradition to donate a piece of their art work to raise money for a good local cause.

    Hillsboro Christmas in the Foothills

    • Hillsboro Christmas in the Foothills is an annual pre-Christmas celebration held in Hillsboro, New Mexico. Hillsboro is well-known for its writers and artists. The event is comprised of open houses in art studios, art galleries and historic homes where vendors sell their holiday wares. They also have a famous sale called the "$49.99 Art Show and Sale" in which all art works are sold at only $49.99. Aside from art, the event also has music and raffles to add to the festivities.

    Santa Fe Winter Fiesta

    • February 2011 will be the first annual Santa Fe Winter Fiesta. Held in the historic streets of Santa Fe, New Mexico, the event will showcase Santa Fe's endless fine arts, performing arts, diverse cuisine and Native American and Spanish cultures. Dubbed as "10 Days of Winter Fun," the event will also feature skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing in the Rocky Mountains, as well as various special live performances. The event concludes with the Annual ARTFeast, a fashion show and auction which is one of Santa Fe's most popular events.

    CSA Holiday Art Festival

    • The CSA Holiday Art Festival is an annual event sponsored by The Corrales Society of Artists. Held on the weekend following Thanksgiving, the event has been celebrated since 2008. The Corrales Society of Artists was established to promote the artists from the Village of Corrales as well as the surrounding areas. They are known for their high standards and the festival ensures a great buying experience for visitors.
