I had never ever listened about the Drury Inns before the last of Friday.
We're not having these in the Boston area, but after having stayed at one of the Inn I really wish if we had one in the Northeast.
For the amount of 120 dollars we go a quite spacious suite which has a living room with the comfy sleeper sofa, a second TV, fridge, two large Queen Beds, A/C which worked efficiently and a microwave.
When we checked in, they handed us a card which entitled us to three soft drinks or free cocktails in the Inn's lobby at around 5:30 happy hours.
Salsa, Pretzels and nachos are all there for us apart from fresh popcorn.
I didn't had those drinks but instead enjoyed few Bud Lights along with a Pretzels bowl before heading on a walk to the Frankenmuth's famous Bavarian Inn to have a family chicken dinner.
For us wine too was an option.
The Inn provides the guests with free sixty minutes of calling on long distance for free.
I've never been earlier to a place which offered this.
The continental breakfast offered was smoking' hot! With sausage patties, scrambled eggs, coffee, juice, a warm and friendly staff made the experience enjoyable for us.
Back to the room, it had firm mattresses and I had a deep sleep in the room.
The ironing boards and hair dryers were just standard in all the rooms.
The room in which we stayed, no 115 was just a ten second walk to whirlpool and indoor pool.
I usually prefer nice soak in hot tubs but with outside temperature at 95 degree outside, I gave it a skip.
The pools are small but are adequate.
The hotel is located in the downtown Frankenmuth and we were just opposite to the Frankenmuth Brewery.
They also offer a good riverboat ride (a 45 min tour) and a fresco dining night on Crass River situated behind the brewpub.
If you are living at Drury then you are also just within walking distance from some great shops, ( a sausage shop selling emu jerky and buffalo summer sausage just besides the Inn!), a bavaran Inn and Zehnders, etc.
We were really thrilled with what we got at Drury Inn.
The suite was great with nice touch and staff was very warm and friendly, we found the rates too reasonable with its superb location in this tourist town added to the charm.
I'd again stay in this heartbeat and would emphatically recommend it.
