You can feel like there is nothing worse than when you find out that your spouse has cheated on you with someone else.
Deception can weaken your relationship significantly, you start to wander what you should do now.
When your spouse turns to someone outside of the marriage to fulfill their needs rather than turning to you, it is no doubt a sign of betrayal.
They can violate the relationship by not being affectionate, not communicating their feelings to you, or by not allowing you to get close to them like you should be able too.
They can't fix problems in the relationship by turning to someone else outside of it, but before something drastic happens you both need to acknowledge that there is something wrong within your relationship.
Neither of you can change what the problem is if you do not acknowledge that there is a problem.
When you find out that your spouse has cheated on you it can be a lot more than you are ready to deal with.
You feel like your life has just been turned upside down and you feel that your mind is just not functioning like it should for awhile.
But once you regain control of your mind, you will have a lot of major decisions ahead of you.
Now what do you do? Your spouse needs to realize all the damages they have caused the relationship.
They need to take all of your feelings into consideration and accept the fact that they are to blame for your over-all well being.
Don't ever let your spouse blame you and make you feel like it is your fault that they chose to cheat on you.
But do remember this, you are the one that teaches people how they can treat you so if you decide let it go and not let your partner know what this has done to you, they won't know and are likely to do it again, why not? They got away with it this time maybe they can get away with it again.
Let your spouse know that there are boundaries that they are not allowed to cross, even though they should already know this, sometimes the vows just don't mean as much to them as they do to you.
Let them know that this behavior will be totally unacceptable if you decide to continue with the relationship.
It is not your fault that your spouse cheated, but don't make excuses for them, this leads them to believe that it is OK for what they did because you will come up with excuses for them.
Sometimes the embarrassment of someone else finding out could cause you to make up the excuses for them and put the blame on yourself, but if you will confront it head on and not cover up for them, you will find that it will make you a stronger person and you will be able to get over the infidelity a lot quicker and you will make wiser decisions in the future if this was to happen again.
