How to Adjust the Ice Level in an Automatic Ice Maker

    • 1). Unplug the refrigerator's power cord from the electrical outlet prior to adjusting the ice maker.

    • 2). Pull the front end panel off the ice maker. If the panel is stuck, use a small flat-head screwdriver to gently remove it.

    • 3). Locate the screw on the right side of the ice maker, which is now exposed with the cover removed.

    • 4). Turn the screw clockwise one-half of a turn to decrease the amount of water that flows to the ice maker by 0.6 oz. Turn the screw counterclockwise one-half turn to increase the amount of water the flows to the ice maker by 0.6 oz. Never turn the screw more than one full turn in one direction.

    • 5). Snap the front panel of the ice maker back onto the unit.

    • 6). Plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet.
