Are you getting the most out of your pressure washer? You're probably not.
If you're the type that would like to save money or just get your money's worth out of the tool, there's a couple ways to accomplish that.
Although there may be a million ways to use one (marketers will figure that out), we'll try to cover the most common ones.
1.
Cleaning Your Gutters.
Are you using that pressure washer to clean your gutters? You should.
Many of us hate to clean gutters regardless of what tools we have to help us with the process, but the pressure washer beats having to pick all those leaves out by hand.
2.
Wood Cleaning/Deck Washing.
You already knew that you could wash off your deck with your pressure washer.
Good.
Just make sure that you've treated the wood on your deck before you do.
3.
Stripping Paint.
Yes.
You can definitely strip paint with this wonderful device.
Remember, we're trying to get this puppy some usage.
There was a painting project somewhere in your past for the house.
Once you figure out what it was, you'll have a perfect machine to get that initial paint off.
4.
Roof Washing.
Why not? For the adventurous types that want to go the extra mile in keeping their home clean.
Get some of that old grime and crud off of your roof.
Preventing all of that unknown stuff from building up is good.
Making your home look like it did when it was just built is even better.
Let's hope you don't make it look worse by letting all of that crud and grime slide into those gutters you just cleaned.
5.
Spraying the Driveway Okay.
This one isn't anything new, but it's a classic.
After cutting the grass and trimming it to your heart's delight, thank goodness we don't have to sweep it all up.
There's even an accessory now called the "water broom" that can help you do so more efficiently.
6.
Be Creative.
Many people wouldn't want to be creative with their tools in their spare time.
But there comes a point when you have to ask yourself if you purchased an item for it to be useful or to gather dust.
If you don't have any projects you've been waiting to tackle, find somebody that does.
Hopefully, that person is good for it and you can loan/rent it out to them.
In either situation, both parties win.
Your friend/family member doesn't have to go buy a tool that they don't use often and you get to be the good guy while your pressure washer gets a little operation time.
The big thing with this tool is that you've already made the investment.
Believe it or not, your pressure washer isn't a car.
Proper use isn't going to destroy your pressure washer.
Even with a car, you'd take it out for a spin once in a while.
Take that baby out of the shed and get her going.
After that, we can imagine you cleaning off your new boat...
