- 1). Select a game mode from the main menu. Options include "Open Play," "Skins," "Tournament," "Challenge" and "Practice." You can also change the game options from the main menu.
- 2). Select your bowler. Create your own bowler if you don't care for any of the pre-made bowlers. To do so, press the on-screen arrows to view the different character models. Click the "Enter Name" button and type your custom bowler's name into the blank provided.
- 3). Click "Play Game" to begin. Click the on-screen arrows to select your desired lane.
- 4). Use the on-screen arrows to slide your bowler left or right. Click on the bowling ball on the right side of the screen to adjust the direction and amount of ball spin. Refer to the bold red line running down the lane to see where your ball will go.
- 5). Bowl your ball. Press the "Enter" button on the keyboard to begin your back-swing. Press "Enter" button a second time to determine your bowling strength, using the on-screen meter as a guide, and a third time to determine your bowling accuracy. Try to stop the sliding meters in the green zones for an optimal bowl.
- 6). Play through the different levels and game modes to unlock new bowlers and locales.
