On the sunny south west coast of Florida, you will find Fort Myers, not famous for its theme parks of extravagant nightlife, but still able to offer up a good time to visitors nonetheless. Those looking for something to do while in the area can spark their creativity, explore their natural side or board a vessel reminiscent of times past. - When you combine a science center, aquarium and interactive hands-on fun, you get the Imaginarium, an activity that will keep the young and old alike amused and amazed. The museum features hands-on science exhibits and simulations, such as the experience of being blown around in a hurricane. For animal lovers, there are aquatic touch tanks and live animal shows. Guests at the Imaginarium also will have the chance to dig for dinosaurs and experience a 3D film in the Theater-in-the-Tank. The Imaginarium Museum is open seven days a week and children under the age of 3 and parking are free of charge.
