- 1). Enroll in a focused language immersion course with an accredited academy or university that focuses on Arabic. The Fluent Arabic Academy is an online academy that offers an immersion course to students through programs abroad in Tunisia and across the Middle East.
- 2). Write or email as a pen-pal with an individual that speaks fluent Arabic. Arabic is common in regions such as Morocco, Algeria, Oman, The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Tunisia, Sudan, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan and Bahrain. Create a relationship with an individual that can help you become fluent in Arabic, as you help them learn English. You may be able to find a pen-pal candidate on social networking sites such as Facebook or bulletin board sites such as Craigslist.
- 3). Study Arabic material from a wide variety of resources. Obtain tapes, CDs, books and other resources that teach Arabic in depth, from conversational dialogue to reading and writing. Spend a minimum of two hours each day working with a tutor.
- 4). Speak the Arabic language as often as possible through connecting with individuals that speak Arabic and live in your area. Find a directory of tutors, Islamic centers and local students studying Arabic who can connect you to individuals that are already fluent in Arabic, and speak with them often.
