How Do I Get a Copy of My Credit Report If I Don't Have a Credit Card?

    • 1). Decide how you want to receive your credit report. You may request your report online, by phone or through the mail.

    • 2). Visit AnnualCreditReport.com to see your credit reports immediately. This site was established by the three credit reporting agencies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. You can get, view and print out a free copy of your credit report from each agency once every 12 months.

    • 3). Call 1-877-322-8228 and request your credit report by phone. Prepare to provide the system with information such as, your social security number and address to verify your identification. The reports are then mailed to you at the address you provide.

    • 4). Ask for your credit report in writing. Print a request form from the credit report site and mail the request form to Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281. It can typically take up to three weeks for you to receive the reports.
