Basic Facts About Neck and Joint Pains

The two most common complaints among most people are neck pain and joint pain.
The exact causes of these conditions are unknown and unspecific which is because of the various factors, which are the reasons behind them.
Hence, it is difficult to diagnose and treat these problems.
Some common causes of joint pains are incorrect posture, degeneration of cartilage, trauma, wear and tear, injury and other conditions like hyperlordosis and scoliosis.
Some syndromes that explain the reason for the joints to become painful are known as joint facet syndrome.
Neck pain also has many causes like joint pains.
Neck pains are caused due to neck injuries or trauma.
Neck pain can also cause various other problems like headache, problems in moving or rotating neck or bending the head or increased pain in doing so and shoulder pain.
A simple stiff neck can also be the cause behind the mentioned pains.
Apart from the various reasons for either of these pains there is only one condition which causes both these pains, that condition is none other than arthritis.
A person suffering from arthritis, has inflamed cartilages because of which they have radiating pain in the joints and also neck.
Another common complaint in people suffering from neck and joint pain is stiffness.
Neck and joint pains are not be taken lightly even if they apparently have been caused due to simple muscle stiffness.
There are several ways to relive the pain in joints and neck and exercise is one of them.
There are various exercises which can help in reliving the pain depending on the reason of the pain for example, if the pain is due excessive tension or excessive flexion then we need to perform stretching exercises which help in correcting the posture thereby releasing the compression on the spinal disc and relieving the pain.
Regular exercise habits can help in relieving pain especially for the elderly.
Exercise also helps in keeping bones healthy and our body strong.
As people always say that prevention is better than cure it is best to start exercising when you are young to avoid age related problems.
