Rent out a hotel room for a fun-filled night away from home. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, recent engagement, college graduation or bachelorette party, plan a themed hotel room party. Incorporate your hotel party theme in everything from your room decorations and favors to your party menu. - Serve guests breakfast foods, regardless the time of your hotel party event. Create a waffle bar, complete with toppings such as fresh fruit, syrup, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, cinnamon and ice cream. Also, create a cereal bar with assorted varieties of granola, dried fruit and nuts. Ask each guest to create unique combination filled with her favorite items to eat during the party or take home as a favor.
Give each guest a set of pearls and a boa to wear during the party. Use light blue and black balloons to decorate the room. Dim the lights, and hang white holiday lights from the ceiling to give the hotel room dramatic lighting. During the night, compete in a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" trivia by asking guests questions about the movie.
Send each guest home with a small jewelry trinket packaged in a blue box with a white ribbon. Use a black gel pen to write each guest's name on her box to make it resemble the jewelry store's logo. - Host a dessert party in your hotel room. Set up a dessert buffet complete with a chocolate fondue fountain, cupcakes, cookies and petit fours. Include recipe cards near each dessert so that interested guests can try the recipes at home. Set up an ice cream bar with various toppings such as sprinkles, chocolate syrup, caramel, nuts, fresh fruit and whipped cream.
For an added touch, select a specific color scheme for your "Sweet Soiree," and create desserts to match it. Make lollipops with your invited guests using molds and supplies from your local arts and crafts store. Purchase molds in the shapes of flowers, butterflies, guests' initial, hearts and cupcakes. - Poker night will never be the same after you and your guests experience a pink poker party equipped with pink poker chips, decor and a pink signature drink. Invite guests to a hotel room for a game and a sleepover. Serve shrimp cocktail, pink frosted cupcakes, salmon dip, white chocolate covered strawberries and tequila sunrises, as your cocktail for the night.
Create a decorative game table with pink hydrangeas in the center and a pink or white tablecloth. Create place cards for guests using a clear favor box, filled with playing chips. Attach a card to each that displays the guest's name.
Distribute decks of pink playing cards to each guest as a favor.
