Trick Or Treat - The Star of Halloween

"Trick or treat" as we all know has become one of the most celebrated events in Halloween.
It is practiced not just in America but on some parts of the world.
Trick or treating has been around less than a hundred years.
Children, having stepped to different door steps collecting sweet treats evolved to a community wide event.
It is said that trick or treat started from Middle or Dark Ages when the Catholic church approved the act of "souling".
This event was made so that beggars could wander around and ask for food in exchange of prayers.
The Catholic Church claim that prayers serves as an "insurance" that once they die their soul will go to heaven.
Trick or treating did not immediately begin until the early part of the 20th century.
It was first discovered in magazines and papers in the latter part of 1930's.
In 1940's, trick or treat started to get popular because of children's book and TV shows.
It was permanently removed on the minds and hearts of America and was put into existence when Walt Disney introduced his cartoon, Trick or Treat in 1952.
Inspired by the success of Christmas products that began in the 1880's, dressing up in a costume for Halloween celebrations and trick or treating was introduced by the Americans.
Nowadays, some communities set a certain night for trick or treat.
They set a time for it to take place and many will even place an age limit for the trick or treaters.
Throughout the 20th century it became a large practice.
For the past years some people found some issues with "trick".
They don't buy the idea that if you don't give treats you will get tricked.
Also issues on vandalism arise, egging houses or car windows or papering someone's house or tree were involved in the act causing trick or treating to actually be banned in some areas.
After all this bad events, trick or treating remains to be fun for all ages.
It is extensively celebrated around the globe and will always be part of the festivities.
Beyond doubt, trick or treat will always be the star of the Halloween night.
