The body really needs a good night's sleep.
You feel refreshed, energised, motivated and alert.

Emotions Although it's not always possible, try to remain relaxed and as un-emotional as possible before going to bed.
Watching a film that causes your heart to race or becoming very upset before going to bed make it hard to relax.
Routine Your body clock is very sensitive and also very effective at helping you fall sleep.
By going to bed at the same time every night your body clock will soon fall into a rhythm and your body will become naturally tired at the same time each day.
