- The retreat is adjacent to Brown County State Park, an area renowned for its natural beauty. Salt Creek boasts an 18 hole championship standard course and driving range. The Overlook Lodge, a luxurious condominium-style hotel with 36 units, also features an outdoor pool and hot tub. The condos include a fully fitted kitchen, fireplace and deck overlooking the course. The course's championship tee distance is 6,308 yards, while the forward tee distance is 4,886 yards for a par of 71. Ben and Tony Van Ness, both PGA golf professionals, are based at the retreat and are available to teach individuals and groups.
- Salt Creek offers a popular golf holiday package every year. The organization says the proximity of the course to Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Louisville make a favorite with golf groups. The package includes a two-night stay in one of the retreat's condominiums overlooking the golf course with a 10 percent discount, unlimited golfing for three days and the use of a golf cart fitted with GPS. In addition, golfers have unlimited use of the driving range, a 20 percent discount in the golf shop and receive a welcome pack of beer. The package costs $119 plus the discounted accommodation. - Golfers and guests can eat at the upscale Brown County Steak and Seafood restaurant or at the 19th Hole Sports Bar and Grille on the retreat's grounds.
