- 1). Use specialty glue from a glass art or mold house. Small glass pieces can be easily glued securely to a wall. The key is to get a glue that strongly adheres both to glass and to the wall surface on which you are going to hang the fused glass pocket. Glues such as Slumpy's Scientific Sticky Serum are formulated to hang and bond glass art to walls.
- 2). Use a hanger system. If you do not want to apply glue to the entire backing of the glass pocket, you can glue a small hanger from a variety of systems to a part of the back of the pocket and attach it to a spot on the wall. This makes the glass pocket portable, but also more susceptible to damage from jarring. You can reduce that by putting clear rubber bumpers, like those you use for the "feet" of some laptops, to the back. You also have to attach a receptacle to the wall, designed to hold the type of hanger you glue to the glass pocket. Many of these can be used in hanging other types of art or pictures.
- 3). Install a specialty bracket system such as you would use for sconces. Glass companies have designed special sconce brackets specifically for glass art. These protect the glass pockets while keeping them free from any type of glue, but they are visible when used to mount any sort of glass art.
