A space of no less than 30 inches by 48 inches is necessary to accommodate a wheelchair. The required number of accessible seats is proportionate to the capacity of the auditorium. For groups under 25, only one seat is needed, two for up to 50. From 51 to 300 four are necessary, and from 301 to 500 a facility needs six. Auditoriums that seat more than 500 require six plus one more for every seating capacity increase of 100 or more.
