- 1). Press "011" on your cellular phone. This is the exit code for international calls made from the USA or Canada.
- 2). Press "60" on your cellular phone for Malaysia's country code.
- 3). Press the area code number that corresponds to the location in Malaysia you wish to call. Example: "3" for Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor, and "4" for Kedah, Penang and Perlis.
- 4). Press the 6-to-8 digit phone number you intend to call on your cellular phone. Example 011 60 3 XXXXXXXX (wherein XXXXXXXX represents the Malaysian number you intend to call).
- 5). Press "Call" on your cellular phone to make the call. Repeat steps 1 to 4 until the call is successfully connected.

- 3). Press the code number that corresponds to the mobile phone service provider you wish to call. Example: "12" for Maxis mobile telephone service provider number---the most popular in Malaysia.
- 4). Press the 6-to-8 digit phone number you intend to call on your cellular phone. Example 011 60 12 XXXXXXXX (wherein XXXXXXXX represents the Malaysian mobile phone number you intend to call)
- 5). Press "Call" on your cellular phone to make the call.
