How to Make Whipped Cream for Cake Decorating

    • 1). Measure out the ingredients:

      * 1 cup of whipping cream
      * 1/4 cup of powdered sugar
      * 1 teaspoon of clear vanilla extract
      * Paste food coloring

    • 2). Put the whipping cream into a chilled mixing bowl.

    • 3). Beat the cream on medium-high speed with an electric mixer. Beat until the cream begins to get stiff.

    • 4). Lower the mixer speed to medium-low while adding in the remaining ingredients. The powdered sugar, vanilla and paste. Do not use liquid food coloring.

    • 5). Keep mixing until it is stiff and fluffy.

    • 6). Use immediately to decorate cakes. It can put spread on or used in a decorators bag. For best results use no longer than 2 to 3 hours before serving.
