My uncle is an Army Officer in United States.
So, I went to visit the Armed Forces Day Celebration on May 21, 2011 with him.
I took my favorite Sony Alpha DSLR-A290 with me so that I can capture some glimpse of this fabulous celebration.
I captured many photos and videos of the various events of the celebration.
On return of home, I was very excited and wanted to show the photos and videos to my mom.
But, when I tried to view one photos, it showed following error: "Card Error" After this, it shut down automatically.
I thought that there was error in one photo so tried to view other photos but the same thing happened again.
When I tried to view videos, same error got stuck with the camera.
With great disappointment, I told the story to one of my friend who was working as a Software Professional in a company.
He gave me consolation and asked to download read-only card recovery software from Internet.
As per his advice, I downloaded 3-4 card recovery software and tried to scan the camera card with the help of software.
But no benefit.
I wanted to try few more software in the hope to recover these photos and videos as I wanted to show them to my mom.
Finally, I downloaded and installed a good photo recovery software.
When, I scanned the card with this software I could view all the photos and videos of the card and finally purchased the full version.
