Your Attitude, Your Choice - How Your Attitude Makes Or Breaks Your Life

People often disregard attitude as a major contributing factor in success.
 This is an absolute falsehood.
In fact, your attitude has a direct and overwhelmingly powerful influence on the success and enjoyment you will get out of life.
  Life is hard.
Having a good attitude helps.
Life is inevitably full of challenges, adversity, and strife.
The attitude you have determines how you will be able to cope.
If you have a positive attitude, you will learn your strengths and test your resolve when times are tough.
If, however, you have a negative attitude, adversity and challenges will seem much more difficult and tedious.
Your life will seem like an endless stream of frustrating roadblocks.
Your expectations directly affect your results, so if you expect to do poorly, then you certainly will! Attitudes and Reactions  In order to change or improve your attitude, you will need to recognize that every single aspect of your thinking has a specific cause.
If you think positively, you can influence those aspects in your favor and change the outcome of future events.
To be able to impact events in your future, you must change your attitude now.
Often times, people who think negatively feel like nothing good will happen to them.
This is a self-fulfilling prophecy of the worst kind! People who dwell on such negative thoughts are setting themselves up to fail, and they will complain when they do and predict future failures.
It is a cruel and never-ending cycle, and can only be addressed by developing a winning attitude.
Successful and unsuccessful people can be defined by their attitude.
Successful people set goals and then plan a course of action that will allow them to achieve those goals.
These people will not allow themselves to be deferred or distracted by setbacks and issues.
Unsuccessful people, with negative attitudes, spend all of their time worrying about uncertainty and foretelling doom.
This wastes their energy on unproductive and circular thoughts, and they have no energy left to get things done.
Successful people recognize that adversity is a condition of life, and do not give it any more attention than is absolutely necessary.
Achieving through Practice If you practice applying positive thinking to negative situations and develop a winning attitude, you will be able to solve problems more readily and with less stress.
What problems lay in your path are merely bumps, and no one can stop you! People may try to discourage you, but it is important to remember that people who discourage your dreams are probably people who have given up on their own! This type of positive outlook allows you to focus solely on what you want and eliminates fruitless detours.
Train your brain.
Develop a positive slogan or phrase and apply it mentally to situations in which you might normally think negatively.
Exercise Your Mind We can go to the gym and train our bodies, so why can we not also train our minds? Thinking winning thoughts is the first step.
An effective way of training your mind is to view challenges as opportunities rather than roadblocks.
A crisis is only a crisis if you want it to become one!  Consider the opportunities to be tested and improved as a person when contemplating a challenge.
If you allow this attitude to become a permanent part of who you are, you will achieve success.
