How to Trim Glass with Copper

  • 1). Choose a copper ribbon that is slightly wider than the glass you are working with.

  • 2). Place the glass at the center of the copper ribbon.

  • 3). Wrap the copper around all sides of the glass, overlapping it a bit where they meet.

  • 4). Apply super glue to the ribbon. Be careful to fit the ribbon exactly how you want it since super glue is hard to move.

  • 5). Press the ribbon to the glass with your fingers so that the copper attaches to the glass.

  • 6). Run the glass cutter along all sides of the glass to remove wrinkles from the copper.

  • 7). Wrap the copper around the edges of the glass on both sides so it resembles the letter C.
