- 1). Set a washed apple on a clean, solid, scratch-resistant surface, such as a kitchen counter or cutting board.
- 2). Hold the corer slicer firmly, gripping a handle in each hand.
- 3). Place the corer slicer on top of the apple, centering the stem of the apple, with the circle-shaped hole in the center of the corer slicer.
- 4). Press down on the corer slicer, cutting into the apple. Continue to press until the corer slicer moves completely through the apple.
- 5). Pull the core out and throw it away. You may need to separate it from the last remaining attached apple skin, if the corer didn't cut completely through.
