- Keeping score in a game of bridge can be complicated. It is helpful to have an easy-to-use score tally kit. There are a variety of these kits available for purchase online. As of March 2011, they typically cost between $3 and $5.
- In the duplicate bridge version of the game, the cards are only shuffled once. However, in the rubber bridge version of the game, the cards are shuffled continuously. Purchasing a card shuffler will make this much easier and consume less time shuffling, leaving more time for card-playing.
- As a lengthy card game to play, bridge players may be interested in using a card holder so they do not have to worry about dropping cards, thereby revealing part of their hands to opponents. There are two broad types of this accessory. One is a wooden board with card slits that sits on the table and the other is a hand-held disc with a slit around its circumference used to hold the cards. For the purpose of hiding your hand, the disc may be more appropriate.
