Hotels and Motels in Wildwood, New Jersey on the Boardwalk

    • Wildwood is a popular summer vacation destination in Cape May County, New Jersey, one hour south of Atlantic City. Named the top beach destination in the Garden State in 2010, this beach community is known for its two-mile long boardwalk, doo-wop culture and wide, sandy beaches. Numerous motels and hotels dot the boardwalk, with some open only during the warmer months of the year.

    Aquarius Motor Inn

    • This four-story motel is near the Wildwood Convention Center and is open from May until mid-October. The Aquarius Motor Inn offers free parking, oceanfront rooms with semi-private balconies, outdoor kiddie and adult pools and a sun deck. Tennis courts are available nearby. Two-room efficiencies are offered; they feature room for six and fully equipped kitchens. Guests are within walking distance from the beach, shops, restaurants and amusement rides.

    The Monaco Motel

    • This two-story motel, open from April to October, is one block from the convention center and is convenient to shops, restaurants, amusement rides and fishing. It offers a sun deck, barbecue grills and free parking. Four room layouts are offered, sleeping two to eight guests. Shoulder season packages include a Mother's Day Weekend getaway, a September Italian festival and Oktoberfest.

    AA Heart of Wildwood Motels

    • Two motels comprise the AA Heart of Wildwoods Motel, with one building on the boardwalk and the other building diagonally across the street on Ocean Avenue for a total of 74 units. These motels are open from late April to early October. Amenities offered include two heated outdoor pools, public balconies and free parking. Standard and efficiency rooms are available. Some units include a refrigerator and a microwave. Room discounts are available for advance reservations and AAA members.

    Days Suite Wildwood

    • This five-story, non-smoking Days Suite is located near Morey's Piers and is across the street from the Wildwood Boardwalk. It is open year round. The Days Suite offers two seasonal outdoor pools, a sundeck, barbecue grills, wireless Internet access and free parking. Each suite offers separate living and sleeping areas, a sleeper sofa and a kitchenette. This motel is five miles from Cape May and 10 miles from the Cape May County Zoo & Park. Guests can walk to restaurants, shops, amusement rides and entertainment from the motel.

    Starlux Boutique Hotel and Meeting Place

    • This four-story hotel is one block from the boardwalk and is open year round. The Starlux hotel offers free parking, a seasonal outdoor pool, spa tub, arcade room, media library and Internet access. Each of the 36 rooms offers a microwave and a refrigerator. Weekday packages for spring and fall stays are offered when you stay three or four nights. Stay and play packages are also available, giving guests access to Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterpark arcades.
