How do I Put Music on a Regular Phone?

    • 1). Open your cell phone's microSD port. This port is labeled "microSD" and is usually located on the side of your phone, however, this might vary between cell phone models. Refer to your cell phone's handbook to find out the exact location of your phone's microSD port.

    • 2). Insert the 32 gigabyte microSD card into your phone's microSD port. Make sure the card's white lettering is on top and the wide end of the card is facing toward you. Gently push the card in until you feel a "click."

    • 3). Close your phone's microSD port. Make sure the port is secure before proceeding.

Attach your USB cord to your phone's USB port, and insert the other end into your computer. Make sure your computer is turned on for this step. Many cell phones have specially-designed USB connectors, so it is best to use the USB cord that came with your phone. See your cell phone's owner's handbook for model-specific information.

    • 5). Click on the device icon labeled "microSD" that pops up on your desktop. This will open the device, allowing you to transfer your music onto the phone.

    • 6). Drag and drop your MP3 music files into the device. Eject the device after you have transferred your music.
