- 1). Draw two lines that will be the beginning of figures. These should follow each other's contours, but the line on the right should have a slight dog leg at the bottom.
- 2). Draw two circles at the tops of both lines, as well as a line that sweeps diagonally across from approximately where the left figure's shoulder should be, to the right figure's lower back.
- 3). Form an arm using that line, so the top of it curves down the left and creates the left figure's back. At this stage, you can fill in spiky anime hair on the two circles to create heads. The figure on the left should have his head behind the right figure's head, with barely her eyes peeping over her shoulder.
- 4). Form a small elbow at the bottom of the left figure's head, and continue that right to form the right figure's shoulder, and down to her back, finishing at the bottom of the line that is now the left figure's hugging arm.
- 5). Fill the rest of the figures' bodies, now that you have the basic hugging form. Give the figure on the left a short ra-ra skirt, to give it an anime appearance.
