You have a mole probably for number of years or you might have mole since birth and you are wondering how much i have to shell out as mole removal cost.
Before I answer that question I guess you should first consider whether you want to get it removed or not.
Moles are broadly due to two reasons, either they are there since birth or they are acquired over a period of time which could be due to exposure to things like sunlight etc.
Now if you have a mole it doesn't mean you have to get it treated.
Some moles are just there and they are not active, what I mean is that they are not growing, not changing color or causing pain etc.
In ancient times moles were sign of beauty and I guess it might be today also.
So if you have any of the symptoms mentioned earlier, it is highly recommended that you get a proper diagnosis done from a qualified dermatologist because in some cases the moles could be malignant Having said that now let's look at some surgical methods and the mole removal cost for surgical methods There are primarily three commonly used surgical methods for mole removal and the cost of mole removal varies from one procedure to other.
Primarily doctors use Cryotherapy, laser surgery and excision.
Cryotherapy is used for removing mole by freezing the area, laser surgery removes mole with laser and excision is basically removing the mole using a sharp scalpel and then putting stitches.
It is very hard to give an exact estimate on the cost, however on an average the range could be anywhere between $50 to $150 per mole.
You must be wondering why this range, the range is because the mole removal cost depends upon the procedure type, whether they give you anesthesia or not because the cost of anesthesia could be high.
In laser surgery the anesthesia might not be required however the cost of laser treatment itself is high I recommend that you should first try home remedies which are comparatively inexpensive and reduce the overall cost for mole treatment and then ask your doctor for a surgical treatment if the mole does not go away.
But if you have an active mole then don't try home remedies.
For a mole with growth you should consult a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.
