How to Compare Motocross Bikes

    • 1). Drive to each dealer you're interested in buying from. While there, collect all the information they have on the respective motocross bike of your choice, and gather all the best prices and financing options that each individual dealer can give you.

    • 2). Go home and turn on your computer. Open up Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet and begin making your categories.

    • 3). Put along the top of your spreadsheet (naming the columns) the brand and model of each dirt-bike you want to compare. Along the side make a category for each of the details, such as price, engine size, suspension, warranty information, height of the bike, weight of the bike, types of tires, and whatever else you think is important information.

    • 4). Finish setting up the categories, and then begin the process of plugging in the information for each bike. With the categories already set up, filling in the details should take no longer than 5 minutes to put all the information into your database.

    • 5). Begin comparing each bike, its strengths, weaknesses, pros and cons. With all the information in a row and lined up in a uniformed spreadsheet, it is easy to compare and contrast what you like and dislike about each bike.
