How to Remove Mold & Mildew From Wood Paneling

    • 1). Mix one part bleach and three parts water in a bucket. Ensure not to use bleach with ammonia. Ammonia is corrosive to the eyes, skin and lungs. Make sure that the area that you are treating is also well ventilated. Place disposable gloves on your hands when handling bleach.

    • 2). Pour the solution into a spray bottle. Spray the mold and mildew with the bleach solution and scrub the affected area using a damp sponge. Be sure not to apply too much solution because it could ruin the wood paneling.

    • 3). Apply clean water to a cloth and wipe off the paneling to remove any excess bleach. Dry the wall using a towel and allow to air dry.
