How to Ghost With Ghost 14.0

    • 1). Open Norton Ghost 14.0. A window will appear explaining USB storage devices are the best places to back up files. It will then ask you to plug in your own USB device. Plug in your USB storage device into a USB port on your computer.

    • 2). A window will open saying it has found the new USB storage device. It then asks if you want to use this device "For recovery point storage." Click the "Yes" button. Norton Ghost will then scan your computer and suggest what you need to back up in a new window.

    • 3). Click "OK" at the bottom of the recommendations window. A new window will open welcoming you to the backup wizard. Click the "Next" button at the bottom right-hand corner of this window. Select which drive you wish to back up by clicking on it in the next window. After selecting your drive, click "Next" at the bottom of the window.

    • 4). A "Recovery Point Type" window will open. Choose the recommended selection and click the "Next" button at the bottom of the window. Click "Next" on the bottom of the next window, titled "Backup Destination."

    • 5). Read the last window, titled "Completing the Define Backup Wizard." Click the box next to "Run backup now." Click the "Finish" button in the bottom right-hand corner of this window.
