The Ohio River borders Cincinnati, where it separates the city from northern Kentucky. Cincinnati's downtown area is focused around Fountain Square, which is a popular public event location. Home to the professional baseball Reds and football Bengals, many festivals are held in Cincinnati throughout the year. This city also has several dance bars as a part of its night life.

    Havana Martini Club

    • Havana Martini Club started out as a martini bar and lounge more than 10 years ago, but has since become a popular Cincinnati destination for salsa music, lessons and dancing. Located in the central business district, this dance bar has a casual-chic dress code. This establishment is open Thursday through Sunday and provides patrons live Latin music each night. In addition to the large bar, there is a spacious dance floor and a room for private events and dining. The elegant décor is complete with wood accents throughout. In addition to a host of signature martinis that are named after classic film stars, a wide selection of cigars, appetizers and pizzas are available.

There is a strict dress code that all three areas adhere to that stipulates no baggy, sweat, camouflage, or nylon pants, no shirts with numbers, no headbands, and no bandanas. Metropolis is open until 2:30 a.m. on Thursday through Saturday and caters to patrons who are 18 and older. There are private V.I.P. and bottle services available at this trendy location that has large dance floors and light shows that are synchronized to the rhythm of the music.
