  Tony Hawk's Project 8 for PlayStation 2 is an intense skateboarding video game. The entire game is one giant city to skate through while competing with other skaters and completing challenges. There are 45 original characters to choose from, each with their own tricks. Because of the relative difficulty of the game, there are several cheats built in.
  
  

Pro Skater in Career Mode

• While playing in career mode, go to the tutorial warehouse near City Park. Enter the warehouse and choose a professional skater to play with and select any of the tutorials. When you exit the warehouse, you will be back in City Park playing as the professional skater you selected. You will not be able to use the tricks of the pro skater or change his appearance. To undo this cheat, go to "edit skater" and change your appearance.
  
  

God Mode

• God mode allows you to skate while looking down at your character. To do this cheat, you should go to the editor goal located on the hilltop. When you are there, you must crash into another skater or pedestrian who is close by. When the person starts to chase after you, start the editor goal and you will be in god mode. You will be able to skate from an aerial point of view. You will also still be able to move pieces around as if you were still in the editor. If you do a grab trick, the god mode will end.
  
  

Jumping Higher

• To jump higher than normal, go up to a guard without being on your skateboard. Jump over him several times until you get an extra mid-air boost. This cheat allows you to get to locations that were otherwise unreachable.
