How to Reset a Combination Lock on a Homak

    • 1). Type in your current combination code on the lettered buttons, which are "H," "O," "M," "A," and "K." A green light on the cabinet will flash each time you press a button. You will hear the "Push Latch" snap open, indicating that you entered the correct combination.

    • 2). Push down the door on the top of the cabinet to open. Press the "Programming" button located inside the cabinet at the top near the door and hold it until the green light stays on.

    • 3). Type in a new combination code on the lettered buttons. Your new combination can be three to six characters in length. Each character can be a single button or a combination of keystrokes. The green flight will flash as you make each entry.

    • 4). Press the "Programming" button and hold it until the green light turns off and the red light turns on. Type in your new combination code to confirm. The green light will flash as you make each entry.

    • 5). Press the "Programming" button and hold it until the green light flashes, confirming that you entered the new code properly. If the red light flashes, you did not enter the code correctly. Wait one minute to let the electronics time out and enter your new code again.
