- 1). Iron the doll clothes carefully. Make sure your iron setting is appropriate for the fabric so you don't scorch the doll clothes. If the clothes have pleats, fold the pleats and pin them in place with straight pins before ironing them. Then take the pins out when you're done ironing.
- 2). Hang the doll clothes on doll hangers. The doll hangers will help the doll clothes to keep their carefully ironed shapes while they're in the package. After the gift has been opened, the recipient can keep her doll clothes nice by hanging them up on the hangers you've provided.
- 3). Lay out two sheets of tissue paper, one on top of the other. Lay the doll clothes in the middle of the tissue paper. Pull the tissue paper up on the two sides and fold one side on top of the other over the top of the clothes. Secure the tissue paper with a small piece of clear tape.
- 4). Place the tissue paper-enclosed doll clothes inside the shirt box. If a shirt box is too large for your doll clothes, look for smaller bakery boxes, available at craft stores in the cake decorating aisle. Bakery boxes come in an assortment of sizes, so you should be able to find one that is the right size for your doll clothes.
- 5). Wrap the box with wrapping paper. Wrap ribbon around the outside of the box and secure it with a generous bow. When you write on the gift tag, write the name of the doll and the doll's owner as recipients of the gift.
