I found out about this campground on the Internet, and I RV camped there in June 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

This campground is very close to Stillwater and St. Paul. Extremely clean and some nice trees for a city camground.

Pros: Location, nice laundry area and clean bathrooms.

Cons: This was our worst camping experience in five years. These owners have forgotten that the people there are their customers and guests.

You are treated like an unwelcome and distrusted intruder most of the time you are there. In most campgrounds we experience an instant sense of community. That's part of the joy of camping. At this campground they charge for all guests, yes, even if just there for a short time. They'll give you the money back, but only after you've paid it upfront. You feel like you are constantly being watched and observed for rule violations. We would have to be very desperate to ever go back.

Nearby attractions: It is a great quick drive to Stillwater and downtown St. Paul.

Further comments: I spoke with several other camping families during our stay and they also felt like this campground was very restrictive, just not much fun. I see others online agree.
