• Tylenol Sinus is commonly used for the temporary relief of the following symptoms: nasal congestion, sinus congestion, sinus pressure, headache, and other aches and pains associated with sinus troubles.
  
  

Acetaminophen

• There are three main active ingredients in Tylenol Sinus. The first of these ingredients is acetaminophen. Acetaminophen works as a pain reliever to help alleviate the aches and pains associated with sinus pressure, especially sinus headaches.
  
  

Guaifenesin

• The second active ingredient in Tylenol Sinus is guaifenesin. Guaifenesin works as an expectorant. Expectorants loosen up mucus buildup in the body, in this case helping to loosen up the materials causing the sinuses to be blocked.
  
  

Phenylephrine

• The third active ingredient in Tylenol Sinus is phenylephrine. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant. Decongestants help clear out the nose and the nasal cavities to relieve congestion and pressure.
  
  

Liver

• Tylenol Sinus can put you at risk of health problems if not used as recommended, or if you have certain underlying health issues. For example, taking more than 12 caplets in a 24-hour period could result in liver damage. This damage can be worsened by drinking alcoholic beverages while taking the medicine, taking other products with acetaminophen at the same time, or if you already have a compromised liver.
