- 1). Take your empty game play card and select three numbers in the first light pink column. Choose one number out of each column in this row. You will notice that you can only choose between the numbers 0 and 9. Pick your three numbers and color the box in completely with your pencil. Choose quick pick or QP at the bottom left corner of the ticket to allow the computer to pick your three numbers for you.
- 2). Choose the type of game play you want. Your options are: exact order, any order, exact/any order, and combo order. The type of game play affects your winning sum.
- 3). Understand the different types of play. Matching in exact order on a dollar play means that you have won $500 prize. An any order option only allows you to win $160 on a dollar ticket. Exact/any order tickets cost an additional fee to play, but if you enter a series of numbers and the exact numbers are drawn or a combination is drawn, you win double; if only an any order is drawn with this type of game play, you still win what you would on an any order ticket. A combination type of ticket costs an additional fee as well, and guarantees that regardless of the resulting combination of your three numbers that you win both the amount of an exact winning and an any order winning.
- 4). Choose the number of drawings you want to participate in. Note that this will add on to the money you pay in. You may choose to wager larger amounts to play your exact ticket for more than one day or more than one drawing. Fifty cents pays for one drawing, a dollar pays for two drawings. Chose the time of day you wish for your drawing to occur. For dollar pays or $5 pays you may select both day and night drawings.
- 5). Choose whether or not to participate in the Sum It Up option on your lotto ticket. The Sum It Up option allows you to win if the drawn numbers do not match your numbers but when added together both your numbers and the drawn numbers equal the same amount. For example, if your number were 1,2,3, which equals 6 and the winning numbers, were 0,1,5, which also equal 6 when added together, you still win.
- 6). Give your ticket to the lottery dealer and allow them to scan it through the lotto computer. They will give you the total end price of your selections and a computer printout of your selections.
