How to Burn DVDs & Blu-rays in iMovie

    • 1). Open your movie in iMovie and drag it to the Timeline.

    • 2). Click "Share" from the top bar menu, then select "iDVD" from the menu. This will load the video you have in the Timeline directly to iDVD.

    • 3). Click on the Title Box in the center of the iDVD screen to type in the title for your DVD. Select a theme from the Theme Chooser on the right hand side if you so desire.

    • 4). Click on the spiral-shaped icon in the bottom part of the iDVD pane to initiate the burn process.

    • 5). Insert a recordable DVD when prompted, and wait several minutes for the burn process to complete. The DVD will eject from the computer when it is complete.
