In nearly every survey about men, women say that a sense of humor is one of the top traits they seek in a man. A sense of humor can get you far with women - as long as you don't overdo it. When you find the right mix of personality and humor, you won't be able to get rid of the chicks!

There are primarily two things involved in being funny: timing and the ability to throw people off with your remarks.

The key to most funny remarks is taking something a typical person would say or think and basically just saying the opposite. For example, if you're out with a woman for dinner and finish everything on your plate, she might say, "Oh, didn't like it?" A typical response to this might be, "Oh, I liked it." But a funny response to this would be, "Oh, absolutely hated it."

Or - let's say that you're big, bald and fat. Then you would tell a woman, "You should feel fortunate to spend your time with an athletic, handsome man like myself."

When you make remarks like that, you're not just showing a woman that you have a good sense of humor, you're also demonstrating that you have total confidence in yourself.

Another area of humor is something called play on words. This is when you take a word or phrase and re-do it to sound funny. For example, let's say you pass by a haircut salon and look at a photo of a model with a strange haircut. Instead of saying, "What a bad haircut," you would say, "Hair do? More like hair-don't!"

Here's another example. Let's say you're emailing a girl about a price increase at the 99 Cents Store. You could say something like, "Did you hear about the price increase at the 99 cents? That just doesn't make any 'cents.'"

Things like play on words and saying opposites can take some practice, but with some effort you can master the skill of being a humorist with women. But remember to be funny on your own terms, not just for the sake of impressing a woman. Women are perceptive and know if you're saying or doing something solely to impress them.
