How to Reset a Dual BIOS

    • 1). Turn your computer off and remove the power cable from the back.

    • 2). Turn the computer tower around so the rear faces you.

    • 3). Remove the two or three screws on the right-side edge of the computer and pull back on the cover at the right side of the tower until it comes free.

    • 4). Lift the right-side cover off of the computer and look around the interior for a small round battery that looks much like a large watch battery.

    • 5). Dip a flat-head screwdriver inside the edge of the battery and pry it out. Leave the battery out for at least half an hour.

    • 6). Place the battery back in facing the same direction it faced before you removed it and reassemble your computer. This resets all BIOS chips in your computer.
