- 1). Trace your pattern onto the fabric intended for the outside of the garment. Trace the same pattern onto the fabric intended for the lining. Cut the traced patterns out.
- 2). Sew the outer garment according to the instructions included with the pattern. Repeat the same exact procedure for the material intended for the lining.
- 3). Turn the outer garment inside out. Turn the lining inside out. Place the outer garment and the lining with right sides together and wrong sides facing out. Pin in place.
- 4). Stitch along the edges of the garment and lining. Leave an open space to flip the garment right side out.
- 5). Flip the garment right side out through the section that was left open. Stitch the open section closed.
